This week I'd like to share a very popular pattern "chevron"

The famous fashion brand Missioni started to use this pattern in their collections. After years of fashion collections Missioni started the home collection in 1983.

Nowadays the "chevron" pattern is used in a lot of interior products, it's a clean and simple pattern and it makes me happy...!

Pretty stationary...

Designing stationary is an upcoming trend. Lots of graphic designers start their own collections. And known lifestyle and fashion brands sell it in there shops. I found some pretty ones in Madrid a few weeks ago and I'd like to share them with you. I also found some pretty ones @ Etsy.com

Great hotel in Madrid...

Last week I visited the great city Madrid... I spend the nights in Hotel Praktik Metropol. This hotel has a great design, Industrial combined with English country house style and frivolous accents.

Floriade 2012 flowers and more...

In my blogs I write a lot about flowers because that is one of the pretty things in nature I enjoy.

Today I went to one of the largest garden shows in The Netherlands called Floriade, we had a great masterclass of one of the most famous trendwatchers Lideweij Edelkoort. She showed us the trend forecasts for 2014 for interior design and fashion.

Later we walked around the floralplaza which was decorated by Oogenlust. It was beautifull and I'd like to share some of the flower photo's with you.

It made me happy, so enjoy!!

Moodboard colors 3

This bowl of fruits inspired me. The colors combined give a beautiful color palette. It gave me the feeling of a little cabin in the tropical rainforrest where you hear nothing else than singing birds and smell nature.

Bright natural fruit colors combined with wood tones and fresh white...soft polished wood, rough textures and a shiny glow...  I want this in my house... ...although I live in the city, this atmosphere makes me very happy and give me the holiday feeling...
